Metal Classes begin the week of Sept. 19
There are some spaces available in my Metal Furniture and Metal Sculpture classes. No experience is necessary… learn the basics of metal cutting, forming and welding and get one-on-one guidance with developing your creative vision. The classes include access to a state-of -the-art facility outside of class time; the studio is at the School of Visual Arts Sculpture Building in Chelsea.
If you are interested in learning Blacksmithing, there is one space available in the beginning class that meets on Thurs nights in Red Hook, Brooklyn. No experience is necessary. The advanced class is now full; looking forward to a creative semester with an excellent group, all of whom are returning for the third- or more!- time taking the class.
There is also a Weekend Welding Workshop on Oct. 1-2. This is perfect if you are a beginner and want to try welding but not commit to an entire semester, or if you have a very targeted goal of learning specific welding techniques,
Registration is through the School of Visual Arts.
