Winter/Spring Metal Classes begin on Jan. 24.
The Blacksmithing classes are now full, but there are some spaces available in my Metal Furniture and Metal Sculpture classes. No experience is necessary… learn the basics of metal cutting, forming and welding and get one-on-one guidance with developing your creative vision. The classes include access to a state-of -the-art facility outside of class time; the studio is at the School of Visual Arts Sculpture Building in Chelsea. If you have an interest in learning or honing skills with the oxy-acetylene torch, there is also a new 4-session torch working class which takes place in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
